Shell Cordovan – Is it worth the money?

Finally, after probably 10 years threatening to invest in a pair of Shell Cordovan shoes I made the leap. I was taken to London by my wife and children for a surprise birthday trip and while there I paid my usual visit to Crockett & Jones on Jermyn Street. About 12 years ago, when I first came across Crockett and Jones it in itself was a serious leap to a price point and probably a quality that I had never experienced before. However, once that boundary was broken it seemed to open the floodgates for me and Crockett and Jones for the next number of years.

Is Camel the big colour for Mens coats this Autumn?

From looking at the different mens collections this Autumn, its hard not to wonder about how successful camel will be as a colour in mens over coats. Im seeing it everywhere, but for the Irish guy, getting past the option of a navy coat, could seem like a big move. I noticed Brown Thomas had a feature on them in their recent magazine.

Newsagents are full of men’s lifestyle magazines. From GQ and Esquire, to Men’s Health and Men’s Fitness. For the fashion and lifestyle conscious man, these magazines do hold a lot of information, but I sometimes find them to be a bit repetitive and often contain far too many advertisements.
